Dragon Ball might begin as a straightforward adventure tale about a kid with a monkey tail and a girl who is looking for a lover. But over time, Toriyama added amazing action scenes to the tale, elevating it to the status of one of the greatest action comics ever written. And gradually over time, the dark side of Dragon Ball also started to show itself. We don't want to know about some of Dragon Ball's dark sides since they would "break" what has already been "broken" in our thoughts. But curiosity always wins, right? So, for people who are still interested in learning more about Toriyama's dark side as displayed in the Dragon Ball series, here are 5 of them. 5. For the GT ending to happen, all Z-Fighters must be forgotten?! A scene in Dragon Ball
Even though GT has many issues, the conclusion is quite fulfilling. In addition to saying goodbye to the Earth and taking off with Shenron, Goku also gives us a montage of all of his greatest achievements. One of the best scenes was Goku and Vegeta, his great-grandson, in a competition. Nobody took note of it, though. Even the mother of Vegeta Jr. is unknown to Pan. They regrettably don't recall our beloved heroes.
But it's all intricately connected to one of GT's central themes, which calls for Piccolo to enter hell, Earth to be obliterated, and Dragon Ball to lose its abilities. That makes logical, no? 4. All of the characters perish horribly in the original timeline's conclusion. Future Kirilin's passing
I assume that every Dragon Ball fan is familiar with Future Trunks' tale. He did really travel to the original timeline from a different one in order to rescue Goku's life.
Evidently, though, it was incorrect. Trunks travels to a different timeline; the first timeline is the one in which he was born. Because we follow the plot in which Future Trunks pays a visit, we are constantly led to believe that he is from the future. In actuality, the original timeline of Dragon Ball is rather gloomy.
Everything we witness—from Goku and Bulma's initial encounter to Goku's victory against Frieza on Namek—leads to a depressing conclusion in which all of your favorite characters perish. So far, all we've seen is an alternate timeline because the primary timeline broke down. Dragon Ball may have one of the saddest endings in anime history without time travel. 3. Bulma was killed by the passing of her close friend Future Bulma.
Although most people believe the Goku Black tale to be quite dark, it is necessary to provide color to Dragon Ball. This arc brings back the terrifying moments of Dragon Ball Z, reveals Future Trunks once more, and intensifies the violent scene. The demise of Future Bulma was one of such horrible events. As onlookers, all we see is a shadowy figure squeezing Bulma's neck. But the person Bulma saw was Son Goku, his own best friend who murdered him by strangling him before destroying his home. We are aware that it wasn't Goku, but Bulma was unaware, so he was forced to spend the last moments of his life gazing at his best buddy. 2. If the heroes give up, the tale of Future Gohan will be told.
Future Trunks is regarded by fans as the most sorrowful figure in Dragin Ball. In contrast to Future Gohan, however, Future Trunks is nothing. In addition to Piccolo, Gohan's green father, dying from a virus after fighting the androids, all of his buddies also passing away while attempting to save the world. Gohan also made fighting androids his life's work. Unfortunately, Gohan continues to be weak and is constantly being played with because he has no one to coach him.
When he eventually gave up and trusted Trunks with everything, his life came to an end. He entered war on a suicide mission with just one arm. Gohan must perish thinking that Trunks, who was far weaker than himself, was the sole hope for mankind at the time since, of course, this is an easy thing for androids. genuinely tragic 1. Goku is only kept in check by his brain injury. "Evil" Goku
The biggest plot shock in this season involves Goku, who turns out to be a dangerous extraterrestrial. Moments like these could look strange to less talented manga writers and creators, but Toriyama made it appear as though he had planned this and hadn't just accepted this notion. So how did Toriyama manage to do it?
We are aware of the cruelty of Saiyans, then. Saiyans are deployed to different worlds to exterminate all life and prepare them for trade. This is why Goku was sent to Earth. Fortunately, the knock to the head returned him to normal and caused him to forget the nefarious scheme. The horrible part is when we understand that's the only thing holding Goku steady and allowing him to develop into our benevolent and innocent hero. What if he was reminded of his terrible objective after one more hit? Who will halt it? Is it really so horrible if that occurs?
In addition to the 5 things above, Dragon Ball may still have another dark side that we are not aware of. Do any of your friends kn=
